Bell Gate House Hotel - Leicester

It was short walk to city centre, shops and food outlets and coach station, brilliant and handy location overall. This was my 2nd stay, they offered deluxe room. The service was absolutely exceptional.

I loved the cleanliness and how fresh everything smelled—definitely a highlight! The only downside was the small room, but it was perfect for a solo getaway. 😊

The shower pressure was weak, making it frustrating. Clean room, comfy bed, and the fridge was a nice surprise. Overall decent place for a quick stay.

The room was super small and a bit cramped. I could feel the springs in the bed, so definitely not comfy for sleeping. There was supposed to be a fridge, a bummer since that was getting repaired. Staff was nice but always had an excuse about the breakfast deal too. It seemed like we didn't get what we paid for.

The bathroom's shower is not good.

Thenice and neat room provided a fridge and a spacious shower cubicle. Staff were friendly and assisted quickly with check-in. The small size of the room might be limiting for longer stays.

great access to parks and historical landmarks for city walkers

I really appreciated the short walk to Abbey Park, where I enjoyed the lush greenery, and the nearby Jewry Wall was an very nice glimpse into Leicester's past. While the staff were friendly and accommodating, the signage could definitely use improvement to help first-time visitors find the hotel more easily.

Ideal for Solo traveler on a budget

Staff were very friendly and helpful, it's like they want you to feel at home. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and it also had a fridge, unexpected but sweet.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but for what I got, it was still acceptable.

Perfect city getaway!

Tidy little spot in the city with comfy rooms. Everything was super clean and got daily service. Had a nice chat with the friendly staff. The in-room breakfast was a great perk for lazy mornings. Only downside was some noise from neighboring rooms, but it wasn't too bad for a short stay.

I had a great stay! The shower was superb and the beautiful colors in the room. Plus, I loved the delicious food from the restaurant downstairs! I would definitely come again!

Clean room, decent decoration, and I appreciated the free wi-fi in rooms , made it easy to plan my city exploration during my two-night stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed the warm decor and inviting atmosphere of Bell Gate House. The cleanliness of the rooms and the attentiveness of the staff.

The stay was really convenient for exploring the city. I appreciated the cleanliness of the room and all the essential amenities, like having a kettle for tea. The location made it easy to walk to nearby attractions, although I did notice some noise from traffic, especially with the window open. it was a decent place to rest after a busy day out.
